If 'Send To -> Mail Recipient' does nothing

If nothing happens when you right-click a file and choose 'Mail Recipient' in the SendTo option, following the below steps may fix it.

1. Go to Start -> Run and type MSIMN.EXE /REG and press enter

2. Go to Start -> Run and type inetcpl.cpl and press enter. Wait for Internet Options window,
click on Programs tab and in the Email field, set your default mail client. Click Apply and OK.

3. Go to Start -> Run and type regedit and press enter, wait for the Registry Editor and navigate to
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mailto\shell\open\command and make sure that the default value is
"%ProgramFiles%\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /mailurl:%1

4. Go to Start -> Run and type the below line
regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Outlook Express\msoe.dll"

Note: You must be having Administrative rights to fix this.
This might not fix the problem if the default mail client is uninstalled from your system
