If Recycle bin icon on your desktop is of no use to you, you can remove it by following the
below steps :
Go to Start -> Run and type Regedit and press enter. Wait for the Registry Editor navigate to the below path.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace
\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
right-click on {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} folder and click delete. This will remove recycle bin from the desktop.
If you want to put it back, create {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} folder under NameSpace folder in the same registry path.
Note: You must have administrative rights to do this.
