Whenever you create a shortcut on your computer, you see the 'Shortcut To' prefix added to the file or folder that you created shortcut of. It is possible to remove the Shortcut To prefix, to do this
Open Registry Editor and then navigate to
HKEY_USERS\ .Default\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
and change the binary value of "link" to "00,00,00,00" Now You can make Shortcuts to desktop without 'Shortcut To' text.
Note: You must restart computer or logoff and login once for the changes to take effect.
